How long does henna last?
The stain typically lasts one to two weeks before it fades. It starts orange, deepens to maroon or brown over 24–48 hours, and stays darkest on the palms and feet.
What kinds of henna do you offer, and are they safe?
You can choose natural, artificial, or black henna — whatever suits the look you want. All of it is skin-safe; none of it is the chemical “black henna” (PPD) that can burn or scar. My natural paste is just henna powder, lemon, sugar, and skin-safe essential oils like cajeput or lavender, gentle enough for children and sensitive skin.
Can I request a specific design, or do you freestyle?
Both. I can work from a photo or a clear idea you bring, draw something custom for you, or freestyle on the spot — your call. From a few small flowers to a full traditional piece, almost any design is on the table; send a reference or just tell me the vibe and we’ll shape it together.
How should I prepare my skin?
Come with clean, dry skin and skip lotions, oils, or sunscreen on the area that day, since they sit between the paste and your skin. Lightly exfoliated skin takes the deepest stain.
What’s the aftercare?
Leave the paste on for 4–8 hours — the longer it stays, the darker the result. Scrape it off rather than washing, and keep the area away from water for the first 24 hours while the colour matures over the next two days.
How do I book, and is there a deposit?
Send your date, location, and what you have in mind through the contact form, and I’ll confirm availability and a price. A deposit holds your spot, with the balance settled on the day.
Where do we meet for an appointment?
For now I work in Montréal, and we meet at a nearby café — one I suggest or one you pick. When you request a date you can tell me which you prefer. For bigger groups and celebrations, plan a few weeks ahead so we can settle on the designs and timing without a rush.
