Bridal henna & mehndi in Montréal

Your wedding henna is something you'll look at all day and remember for years, so I like to take my time with it. I work in fine lines — traditional or modern — across the hands, forearms and feet, in natural henna or a safe artificial one, whatever suits your skin and your day. The stain tells the story, and I want yours to be a beautiful one.

The bridal timeline

Let's plan ahead. For a wedding I like to be booked a few weeks out, so we can hold your date and talk through the design without rushing. For the deepest photo colour, I apply the henna one to two days before the celebration — it starts orange and deepens to a rich maroon-brown over the next 24 to 48 hours, darkest on the palms and feet. Leave the paste on for four to eight hours, scrape it off rather than washing, and keep it dry for the first day.

Coverage & your design

Some brides want full, intricate coverage up the forearms and onto the feet; others want an airier trail on the hands alone. Both are beautiful — we'll shape it to you. Before the day, we can have a quiet design chat: bring photos of what draws you, traditional or modern, and I'll adapt it to your hands. I work in natural henna (henna powder, lemon, sugar and skin-safe oils), a safe artificial henna, or a safe black with no PPD — never the chemical "black henna."

An unhurried session, priced by the work

Bridal work is detailed, so I set aside a generous, private appointment — just us, no clock-watching. Because every design and coverage is different, bridal henna is quoted after we talk through your date and design; there's no fixed price. When you're ready, send me a date through the request form and I'll reply by email to confirm availability and your quote. A deposit holds your slot, with the balance on the day. I'm based in Montréal and travel to Laval, Longueuil, Brossard and the West Island, and for weddings I come to you.

Common questions

How far in advance should I book my bridal henna?
For a wedding, a few weeks ahead is ideal — it lets us hold your date, have a design chat, and leave nothing to the last minute. Bridal dates fill up around the busy season, so earlier is always safer. Send me your date through the request form and I'll confirm by email.
When should the henna actually be applied before the wedding?
One to two days before the celebration. Henna keeps developing after the paste comes off — it starts orange and deepens over 24 to 48 hours — so that little window lets it mature to its richest colour for your photos, rather than looking pale on the morning of.
How long will my bridal henna last, and how dark will it get?
Usually one to two weeks, fading gently. It's darkest on the palms and feet, where the skin holds the stain best. To get the deepest colour, leave the paste on for four to eight hours, scrape it off instead of washing, and keep the area dry for the first 24 hours.
Do you offer black henna, and is it safe?
I offer a safe black with no PPD, so you can have a deeper look without the risk. I never use the chemical "black henna" that contains PPD — it can burn and scar the skin. My natural paste is simply henna powder, lemon, sugar and skin-safe oils, gentle enough for kids and sensitive skin.

Tell me about your event and I'll reply with dates and a quote.
